Ficus benghalensis
Ficus benghalensis or Banyan Fig is an evergreen tree with spreading, often horizontal branches supported by prop roots. Bears elliptic to broadly ovate, leathery, deep green leaves, 13-25cm long, flushed bronze when young and with a distinct pattern of pale veins when mature. Spherical red figs, to 2cm across, are borne in pairs.
