Strelitzia nicolai is a flowering plant indigenous to South Africa. Commonly known as bird of paradise, طائر الجنة Or crane flower, though these names are also collectively applied to other species in the Genus Strelitzia. It is the national flower of Madeira, Portugal since 2005.

CARE
- Ideal required temperature is around 60°f / 15.5°c – 75°f / 24°c. Winter no less than 50°f / 10°c.
